Shadow Application Privacy/Data Policy.
By continuing to use the Shadow application you are agreeing to the following terms in relation to the location data collection. No other personal data is collected by this application.
Location Data
The Shadow application may collect data in the background even if the application is not in the foreground.
Camera access
Dispatch may remotely activate the camera via the app to assess the status of the vehicle for safety reasons. This is done only while the application is running and the employee is actively logged on in the app which indicates to dispatch that the vehicle is currently servicing a transit route.
Data usage
We utilize the location data collected by the application so we can properly inform the staff and in some cases, the public about the location of the vehicles in relation to the transit routes. The Shadow application should be used exclusively by Transdev employees. If you are not a Transdev employee, please uninstall the application.
Security
Data is always transmitted to Transdev servers via a secure HTTPS link.
